True desert white is not paper and not chalk. It is a bone color — warm underneath, pale on the surface, the tone of salt flats at the hottest hour of the day when every other color has been bleached out of the landscape. The Bonneville Salt Flats. The playas of the Mojave. The alkali beds of the Great Basin. Ground so bright it reads as absence.
This tee is that color. An honest off-white with a warm hand, dyed on midweight cotton chosen to reflect heat rather than hold it. The 160gsm weight reads as a real garment at the shoulder but still drapes clean through a hundred-degree afternoon.
